Cooperation in the field of construction materials’ production

Zhangir Khan WKATU intensively cooperates with construction organizations and region’s construction material industry.

In an effort to realize the ideas, which made during the meeting of the Bureau of the university Alumni Association working visit of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of Zhangir Khan WKATU and scientists of the Industrial-Technological Institute visited LLP Steklo-Servis, headed by the university’s alumni A.A.Rubtsov.

The realization of waste utilization project generated during the processing of glass (recycled glass and fine glass powders, occurring during glass’s polishing) on the base of LLP Steklo-Servis by using them in building materials technology was the outcome of this meeting.

Under the guidance of Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor S.A.Montayev experimental-industrial output of heat-isolating material such as cellular glass and concrete paving stones on the base Zhangir Khan WKATU will be realized. Foam glass belongs to the class of heat-insulating materials and has unique properties. Its use in thermal insulation of buildings and structures allows increasing the degree of their energy efficiency twice and provides absolute incombustibility and durability. The use of fine powders in the production of concrete paving stones provides high operational properties and contributes saving of cement and natural sand up to 30-40%. As a result, the cost of finished products is reduced by 15-20%.
